Kids take over our Cobden site
On Saturday, our Cobden site played host to around 100 kids as it opened its doors to the families of our staff.
The day was filled with learning and fun as staff showed their families what they do at work and how dairy foods are made.
Fonterra Cobden Site Manager Nick Hayes said it was so great to see so many children visit the site to learn more about what their parents do for work.
“We had around 200 people come along to what was a really was a special day for our Cobden team,” Nick said.
“There were so many young faces all really interested to see the behind the scenes of how our dairy operations work and just what’s involved in making some of Australia’s favourite brands – we may have even got some of the kids interested in a career in the industry in the future!”
