At the end of February, Fonterra showed up at Gulfood in Dubai, the world’s largest food and beverage event – to showcase our fantastic range of products to the world.

Meanwhile, our ingredients team – NZMP, focused on showing how we can creatively help customers strengthen their products with extra protein. Gulfood is a place that's invaluable for gathering market insights on the latest trends, and Regional Sales Manager for MEA Adam Lyall noticed that health and wellness and protein fortification continues to be top of mind for consumers – and our ingredients play right into that.
Perhaps the most unique thing about our stand this year was the way we showed up when it came to sharing our sustainability credentials. We went bolder than we ever have before on showing what makes our New Zealand grass-fed dairy different.
Sustainability Solutions Manager Jenna Grieve and Trade Strategy Manager for Europe and MEA Mark Casey, took the stage to participate in discussions revolving around sustainability.
Jenna shared a presentation on how our Co-op is working to make the dairy industry less carbon intensive and shared many of the game-changing methane innovations we’re testing. Mark participated in a panel discussing the future of animal-based food.
