People and Culture (P&C) Director, Human Resources - Middle East
I joined Fonterra back in 2017, and over the last five years have enjoyed a rich and diverse experience working with the Middle East and Africa team. Recently, I stepped into the role of People & Culture Director.
I’m an introvert by nature, a hard worker by design, and a creative at heart.
I’ve faced challenges along the way, like finding a working style compatible with my introverted personality, as well taking time to have children. But having a strong support system and mentors at work helped me find my way.
During the early years of my career, I found it difficult to network, collaborate, communicate, or share ideas. Later, the constant juggling act of motherhood and a demanding career became a battle, which often made me question my abilities as a parent or a professional, or both.
Having a few meaningful connections at work helped me navigate through some challenging times, both professionally and personally. Being paired with outstanding mentors supported me immensely, guiding me through competing career choices, helping me overcome obstacles, and encouraging me to reach my full potential.
