We're opening the gates to our sites - 6 April 2019
On Saturday April 6, Te Rapa, Darfield and Edendale are all opening their gates and welcoming friends, family, farmers and local communities to check out the on-site action.
- Te Rapa, 10am – 2pm, 1344 Te Rapa Road, Horotiu, Hamilton
- Darfield, 10am – 2pm, 3792 West Coast Road, Darfield
- Edendale, 10am – 1.30pm, State Highway 1, Edendale
The events are our little chance to show you some of the big things our awesome people do.
Each year, across New Zealand, 500 Fonterra tankers travel 100 million km, they collect milk from a farm every nine seconds, deliver that milk to one of our 30 manufacturing sites every 24 seconds, and we close the doors on a shipping container of product every three minutes. That product then goes to millions of consumers in 140 countries around the world.
Come along for a look around and get a wee taste of what goes into making delicious New Zealand dairy.
